How to Create a Linked Banner

Note: You will probably want 2 windows open Blogger and your Marketing Pond Back Office.
Go to Blogger
Click on the
Posting tab then click on create
Put a tittle in the tittle box.

The sixth button in the post box has an image when you hover over it, it has add image Click on that.
You now have a choice of adding an image from your computer or add image from web. Choose ad image from web.

Go to your Marketing Pond back Office under "Refer and Promote" and choose which banner you wish to use.

Under each banner is a banner Link. Right Click and Copy the entire link of the chosen banner with no spaces.

Go back to blogger.com ( make sure you have pop up blockers off ) Click on the Image button and paste the banner link that you have chosen in the url spot. You will also have a choice of where you would like to place the banner on the page, and the size. Click enter after you have made your choices.

After this some crazy code will show up on the page- do not panic. There is a little tab on the top right hand corner that says Edit Html or Compose, Click on compose and your Banner should be there.
Okay you are not done. You should have a banner looking similar to the one above. Notice your banner is not clickable yet.

Now go back to your Marketing Pond back office and Click on refer and promote and choose one of your referral links. One link is the introductory Link and the other is the program list link choose one to place on your banner then right click and copy it.

Note: Your link should look something like this http://www.marketingpond.com/ref.cgi/20277/
every referral link to every program has either a user name or number to identify you as a referrer so make sure your id is there. Marketing Pond uses numbers my number is 20277, yours will be different.

After you copied your link from Marketing Pond go to back to blogger and click on your banner picture. You will see funny boxes around it. Then click on the button with a picture of a link and world. .A box will come up with http:// in it back space that http:// and paste your own referral link.

Congrats you just made your referral banner make sure to save your post.

Linking to your referral link is easy also.
Right Click and Copy your referral url from your Marketing Pond Back office again

Go back to blogger and type whatever words you want to link up
your words
then right click and highlight what words you want to link
then click the link world picture again and paste your referral url
